Shoot Him Up! is a reverse Shoot 'Em Up strategy game where you fight to defend your base from the enemy human ship. Send your defense drones to defeat the enemy before they reach your base!

HOW TO PLAY:

Mouse controls only.

To start the game, choose one of the three enemy ships available and the Drone Defense Squad you want to use to defend your base, then click "BATTLE!"

During the battle, click on one of the available unit buttons on the controls below to deploy a Drone. When a drone is deployed, it becomes unavailable for a short period of time. You can only have a maximum of 3 drones out at once, and each drone has individual stats, so plan ahead!

Keep an eye on the radar on the bottom of the screen. If the enemy ship reaches the base (the 4 square dots on the left), you lose!

STORY:

The galaxy is dying.

You are the last of the Protectors, a class of intergalactic guardians responsible for protecting the Beacon of Life — advanced structures that shield the galaxy's existence from the natural entropy that will inevitably end the Universe.

The Beacon of Life you guard has stood tall for Eons. But now, it might fall to the most terrifying threat the Universe has ever seen...

...Human greed.

The first of their kind is coming, Protector. Get your defenses ready...

Defense drones should shoot more frequently.

Won't that be better?

Hey! Thank you for the feedback. You might be right about that. We didn't have too much time to properly balance out the game, but we can revisit it post-jam. Thank you for playing <3
