SPACE BAR to JUMP
X to PLACE LADDER
Z to RESCUE / CONFIRM choice

HINTS:
1) The ladder will only appear if you rescue enough victims (it can be 1 to 3 depending on the level).
2) No, you can't jump if you're touching or climbing a ladder. Don't ask.
